no surprise to hear that Tim Cowley has again been selected in the 'Rugby Times'
National One Dream XV, as voted for by the coaches from other teams in the Division.
One
of five Cornish Pirates selected last year, the Bourgoin bound back-rower retains
his place at No. 8 as the only 'Pirate' named in this year's line-up.
In
total, eight different clubs are represented, and there were 107 different players
nominated by the 16 coaching teams who were unable to cast a vote for members
of their own squads.
League champions Northampton Saints,
with five, had the most players named in the chosen side.
From
a Pirates perspective, lock Heino Senekal must have been close to inclusion, whilst
Cornish All Blacks winger Matt Jess is another who clearly came into contention.
