Jeff
currently runs his own private practice, The
Injury Prevention Clinic at Scorrier Redruth, where he is involved in the
rehabilitation, from injury, of local sportsmen and women (plus the non-sporty!).
Included among his clients is England international rugby
player Josh Lewsey, and he is also responsible for pitch side first-aid of the
Cornwall U15 and U16 rugby teams.
Still a keen and active
sportsman, Jeff has played football for several Combination league clubs and is
currently plying his trade with Wendron in the Peninsula League Division 1 (West).
Presently studying the third year of a BSc in Sports Performance
at Truro College, he has also successfully completed a Foundation degree in Sports
Science and Injury Management, and hopefully upon completion of the BSc will study
for a teaching qualification with a view to teach to college students - although,
and you never know, as he says in his own words "I might just be working
for the Pirates in the Premiership!"
Having been
around at the club for the past 4 seasons, Jeff has relished the opportunity to
work with a professional sports team like the Cornish Pirates, and finds it quite
ironic that as a keen footballer he finds himself working for a rugby club.
