He
attended King Edward's Fiveways School, Birmingham, which has produced a number
of top level players, including former England winger Keith Fielding.
Moseley's
'Player of the Season' in 2003 and 'Supporters Player of the Season' in 2005,
he broke a number of the club's all time scoring records in the past few seasons.
Indeed, such was his points scoring prowess that in his penultimate game for 'Mose'
he passed the 1000 points for them in just four seasons - an exceptional record,
especially when considering that in his first year he was not their main kicker.
Despite
Moseley finishing fourteenth in National One in 2006-07, narrowly avoiding relegation,
Ollie still ended up third in the league's top points scoring list. In total he
notched up an impressive 287 points, including a club record 28 points for Moseley
in a 38-32 win against Nottingham.
Not
just a goal kicker, he can also score tries and has the ability to challenge in
a number of positions.
On
joining the Pirates Ollie commented that he was looking forward to becoming a
full-time rugby player and was excited at the opportunity to help both the Pirates
and himself to progress. He added "I will work hard to give my all."
Personal highlights
to date include winning National Two with Moseley in 2005-06, playing for England
Counties, and also hitting a century at Edgbaston - as a number three batsman
he played for Warwickshire from U12s to U19s level, rugby then becoming his number
one focus.
