irates U 14s recently entered
two teams into the Penryn 7s aside competition. Both sides performed
extremely well, with Pirates A winning two of their three matches
in their pool.
v Wadebrigde 28-0 win | v Bude 14-7 win | v Camborne A 21-14 loss
Pirates B also
won two of their three pool games,
v Bodmin 7-0 loss | v
Penryn 24-0 Win | v Camborne B 26-0 Win
Both
sides qualified for the semi final of the plate, with Pirates A winning
against St Austell 35-0. Pirates B lost to Saltash 28-0. Pirates A triumphed in the final of the plate, beat Saltash 31-7, to gain
the Pirates U14s first county honours. Tries scored through out the
day by: -
Kial Richards (8), Tristan Nicholls (4), Neal Hosking (4), Alistor
Hutchison (1), Danny Toolan (1), Jamie Barrett (2), Chris Butler (3), James Nicholls
(2), Nicholas Totty (2), and kicking duties carried out by Danny Toolan and Chris
Butler.
