Yes it was dull and wet on Easter Monday, but the Pirates Amateurs still shone in recording a fine win at the Mennaye Field against the touring Imperial Medicals side.

Tries for the Pirates were scored by lock Mark Osborne, back-rowers Sam Heath and Scott Powell, wing Kelvin James, and centre Trevelyan Dugdale. Fly-half Andrew Snell landed three conversions.
Danny Clackworthy and Jodie Marr from Hayle were guests players on the day.

The Pirates Amateurs are on tour this weekend to Bristol, taking in Dog Racing on Friday evening, attendance at the Cinderford v Blaydon National Two league match on Saturday, and then, on Sunday, playing Wells RFC.
