Playing at Perranporth's 'The Droop' ground last Saturday, the Pirates Amateurs emerged worthy winners from an entertaining 'friendly' game.

Both sides played some fine rugby, but it was the Pirates who were just that much stronger throughout.

Kiwi Aaron Pennell scored a hat-trick before returning home to New Zealand, whilst Rob Cutter, Ashley Weston, Trevelyan Dugdale, Steve Richards, James Trezise and Dave Law had a try each. Andrew Snell and Kelvin James completed the scoring with a conversion apiece
