Camborne Colts 3 Pirates Colts 26

In their first game of season the colts recorded a great win, away to Camborne.

In poor conditions the pirate's forwards got the upper hand. and were well led by new Captain Tom Cowan-Dickie. Camborne took the lead with penalty. but the soon hit back with a try by toolan. this was converted by James.

In the 2nd half the Pirates played some good attacking rugby, this led to a 2nd try by Semmens, again converted by James with the Pirates well on top, 2 more tries were scored by richards and stanley. with james converting 1 of them.

This is a good start to the season. and the players and coaches will look to build on this.

This week (Saturday 13th September) the Colts will be at home to Saltash.
