Falmouth Colts 5 Pirates Colts 20
Saturday 8th November, 2008
Playing away at Falmouth, the Pirates Colts continued their winning ways in a very hard game contested in wet and cold conditions.
Tries for the Pirates were scored by flanker Kyle Richards and in form full-back Kelvin James, who also added two conversions, a penalty and a drop goal.
Jack Nowell, Luke Cowan-Dickie and Kyle Moyle, who are members of the Pirates U16s, came into the side and all played extremely well, with the all-round defensive display shown by the team also commendable.
Scrum-half Gareth Bodilly injured a shoulder in the match and had to receive hospital treatment, but he was said afterwards to be okay, with it hoped that he'll be back playing again in the very near future.
Pirates Colts:
K. James, J. Rule, J. Oliver, J. Semmens, T. Daniels, J. Nowell, G. Bodilly, L. Cowan-Dickie, K. Richards, O. Monk, W. Maplethorpe, C. Butler, D. Toolan, R. Stanley (capt), D. Penrose.
