| Ian James - Oldest Playing 'Pirate' |
| |
|
March 2008
The oldest present day playing 'Pirate' is Ian James, aged 39. Ian, on the right, is pictured with seven years old son Jowan, and the captain of the Pirates 'Amateurs', Wayne Davey.
All three are seen proudly wearing new shirts, Ian from Duchy Surveyors providing sets to both the Pirates Amateurs and the Pirates Colts.
If Ian is reckoned to be the oldest playing Pirate, then Jowan is among the youngest group of players.
They are the son and grandson of David James a former club Chairman. |
