Played at Polson Bridge, Launceston, on the last Sunday in April, the Pirates emerged comfortable winners of the Cornwall U16s Sevens Tournament.

Having beaten hosts Launceston, Saltash, Bodmin and Liskeard-Looe in their Pool games, the Pirates won convincingly 52-12 against Newquay in the final.

In total the Pirates scored 220 points in five matches played, and conceded just 51 points. Their squad was as follows:-
