New Steward For Westholme Clubhouse
 

Christine's Appointment Confirmed

The Pirates have confirmed the appointment of Christine Cusick as their new Steward for the club's 'Westholme' clubhouse in Penzance, which has an open public licence and is not restricted to members only.

Christine officially starts her new role on Monday 14 th September, and it is a fresh challenge that she is looking forward to.

Providing a good service to customers is her priority, for the benefit of rugby players and the general public alike. Facilities will also be available to play pool, darts and bingo.

Of interest, Christine and her husband George, who were formerly IT lecturers at Penwith College, have been publicans for the last seven years, running the Trevelyan Arms at Goldsithney and more recently the Humphry Davy in Penzance. George is Chairman of 'Pubwatch' and Christine is the Treasurer.

'Lounge Hire' at 'Westholme' is free for members, whilst non-members have to pay just £50, which is refunded should the bar take exceeds £500.
