The Youth Section will be holding their registration evening at The Mennaye Field on Friday 3rd September from 4.30 – 6.30pm.

By kind permission of the Cornish Pirates the registration will be in the new hospitality marquee whilst training for all groups will be on the Nurseries field.

Playing kit will be available thanks to Whirlwind Sports who are opening the club shop during the registration and training period.

The Penzance & Newlyn RFC's Youth Section recently held its awards evening, Wendy Nicholas, youth chair, thanked all those that made rugby possible for over 200 members aged from 6 to 18.

The Youth Section's AGM will be held at the Pirates 'Westholme' clubhouse on Tuesday 15th June, commencing 7.30pm. Anyone who feels able to help provide rugby for the youth of Penzance is welcome to attend.

Penzance & Newlyn RFC Youth Section would like to congratulate John Stevens and Neil Stanleik from the club's U15s squad for being two of only 10 Cornish under 15 rugby players to be invited to the South West England Division rugby development academies to be held at Millfield School.

This is part of a player pathway scheme looking to develop elite players in the South West.
