Giving a strong Camborne second team a tough workout, much credit was due the Pirates Amateurs in this match.

No. 8 Scott Powell scored two tries for the Amateurs, one from a driving maul and a second from a pushover scrum, and fly-half Murray Westren landed one conversion.
