Perranporth 19-10 Pirates Amateurs

This game was closely fought away to Perranporth, who confirmed their victory with a converted late try.

The home side opened the scoring in the fifteenth minute, when Chas Buscombe ran in from his own '22', and they then went further ahead when Buscombe gifted his fellow centre Ollie Wilton a try that was converted by Adi Matthews.

Before the interval the Pirates hit back with a fine effort scored by wing Kyle Moyle who lent support on the overlap to finish off a backs move.

12-5 down at the break, the Amateurs then proceeded to score their second try in the match on the resumption of play, it another well constructed effort finished off by full-back Rob Cutter.

Indeed, the Pirates Amateurs did most of the attacking throughout the second period, before a decisive second try of the match near the end by Buscombe, converted by Matthews, put the result beyond doubt.
