A depleted Pirates Amateurs were given a rugby lesson away to a strong Wadebridge side in this Merit Table clash.

The 'Camels' outscored the Amateurs by 9 tries to 2, but great credit must go to the 15 Pirates who travelled under strength and competed right to the final whistle.

Young hooker Ryan Stanley had an outstanding game, chasing and tackling from start to finish, and the Pirates two tries were well taken out wide by centre Josh Oliver and scrum-half Casvelyn James.

Murray Westren added one conversion.
