Members of Penzance & Newlyn RFC's Youth Committee have recently completed their First Aid refresher course.

The new directives are always useful to know and members were surprised how many changes there have been in the past three years.

The course was led by Sam Peek who adapted certain areas to be more relevant to the type of injuries more likely to be seen on the field of play.

It is hoped to arrange a 'Junior' first aid course which will be shortened to show members, and anyone else interested, the basic principles of first aid.
